Don’t let the ever-present reminder that Valentine’s Day is here get you out of a loving mood. The onslaught of Hallmark commercials, candy hearts and Facebook engagement photos can be nerve-grinding, especially if you have not found that special somebody, but we believe that every night can be used as an excuse to dress up and celebrate. We have the best pairings for any occasion life throws your way, so whether you are hitting happy hour, dancing the night away or just grabbing lunch, you can stand out in style. –Angela Bobo

Dinner Date

A good meal can sometimes be the starting point to an epic night, so you want to make sure that your look can fit in with a variety of scenarios. A figure-flattering dress and high heel is a great way to wow on the first date or the fiftieth. This dress is a winner because the piping and shape highlights curves, yet the hemline keeps it from being too provocative. The mesh detail gives it a sporty-meets-sexy edge that is sure to turn heads no matter where you go.

Happy Hour

A fun printed pant and flirty top is an easy way to go from work to play. The key is to cover up with a structured jacket or cropped cardigan between the hours of 9 to 5. The grid print is a more minimalistic approach to the fall’s popular tartan trend, and because it sticks to a solid color pattern it won’t clash with an office environment. Try to balance the pants with a top that is neutral, but still intriguing.

 Girl’s Night Out

A night out with the ladies is the perfect time to show of your sartorial side. Pull off tricky trends and score some major style points from your friendly fashionistas. What better time to try leather and lace than a night on the town? Finding the right fit and proportions can create a chic look that looks more dashing than dominatrix-inspired. Pair this slouchy leather top with a midi-length skirt with mesh detail for an interesting look that proves all-black can be everything but basic.

Day Date

Day dates always have a wide range of possibilities, and you can find yourself starting with coffee and ending with lunch and a matinee. While you want to be casual and comfortable, you still need to look cute to prevent feeling out of sorts if you wind up at a nicer place than expected. I love to throw a cozy sweater over a flared skirt for a look that is easy and still somewhat elegant. For added warmth, wear with thick tights and leather boots.
